In contrast to Stalin Lenin has not been removed systematically for political reasons from public spaces in Russia. So he is still present almost everywhere, but we do not really notice him. So our little group of photographers had to look for his statues, likenesses, colours, symbols and traces of his time. We met his fans on the birthday parade for him on the Red Square. We removed him from his high bases, took him with us in the lively parts of Moscow, we removed him at all and his epoch’s signs.
